Omah Lay’s Set To Drop His Second Studio Album ‘Clarity Of Mind’ on the 16th of May

Award-winning Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay has finally unveiled the release date for his highly anticipated second album, ‘Clarity of Mind‘. The project, set to drop on May 16, 2025, was announced via the Instagram page of his label, Keyqaad.

 

 

From Scrapped Album to ‘Clarity of Mind’

In a revealing interview on The Zang Sang Show, Omah Lay shared that he initially completed an album but had to abandon it after an artist he “loved and trusted” allegedly ripped off his innovative sound.

“I was creating something fresh, played it for someone, and next thing—they dropped an album with that same sound,” Omah Lay explained. Rather than compete, he chose to reinvent, promising that ‘Clarity of Mind’ would be “the greatest Afrobeats album ever.”
